2006: A Year of Breakthrough for the Leukodystrophies

We hope you had a great Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year, and holiday season. Ours was really good, and then we began the New Year with a week of special services at church. Every year, we have what we call ZION....every night for the first week in January. It's a time we set aside every year to seek the Lord and focus on Him. Our Senior Pastor speaks, and then we have other guest speakers throughout the week. It's such a special time.

I have an URGENT PRAYER NEED to share with you: Micah is a beautiful baby with ALD, currently going through the brutal process of transplant at Duke. His ammonia level is very high, meaning liver problems. And he only has about 15% kidney function. He is in need of urgent prayer! Please visit his site (link is on our main website's links page), and leave a note of prayer, support, or encouragement in their guestbook.

The "Blue Ribbon Postage" campaign is going great....what a great way to raise awareness of the Leukodystrophies...We've worked so hard to get the Leukodystrophies recognized, and now we have it. So let's take it and run with it! Just go to our main site, and click on the "stamp" on the front page. And you'll want to get your blue "One Step Closer to a Cure" wristbands, too! Ordering information is on the front page. And in case you're wondering where the front page is....it's here. Just click the link.

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers, and as always, we ask you to please remember all the Leukodystrophy families.

Praying that 2006 will be the year of breakthrough in the Leukodystrophies!

God Bless!
