To our Texas Friends

The next "One Step Closer" Walk for Leukodystrophy will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Allen, TX. Allen is in the North Dallas area, and we would love for all of our Texas friends to come help us honor Nathan Fleming, Zach Harrison, Greyson Morris, Maddy Schmiedel, Jansen Scott, Deborah Lloyd, Christopher Benson, Cassidy Pearish, Ryan Scott, Chris Michael, Kaleb Pitchford, Nathan Kuai, and others who are or were affected by a Leukodystrophy.

Please plan a weekend trip to Dallas the weekend of July 24, and come walk with us on Saturday morning! The walk will be at Celebration Park (Angel Pkwy & Malone) in Allen. We will also have a "ticket auction" (you buy tickets and use them to bid on items), and a bone marrow drive (no one is giving bone marrow -- it's a recruitment for people to join the national bone marrow registry. Four cheek swabs is all it takes!).
